Dear Friends and Wine-Lovers,

We have been busy in the vineyard and winery continuously striving to make excellent quality wines whilst offering value for money, sustainable viticultural practices and environmentally aware winery and packaging practices.

Our hard work has paid off this year with awards being received and the new Blend Series of wines being released in mid October.

We have enjoyed success again at the 2009 International Wine and Spirit Competition in London with Silver Medals being awarded to the 2006 Prestige Range: The Wilhelmus, Merlot Prestige and Shiraz Prestige. We are excited with these results as this competition is fiercely contested from all over the world with exciting wines entered. The results confirm our commitment to producing consistent quality wines and come on the back of the win at the same competition some years ago with the winning of the Australian Producer of the Year and the Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtessa de Lalande Trophy for the 2002 Wilhelmus.

The 2002 Wilhelmus has long since been sold or coveted in cellars but the 2006 is currently available via our mailing list.

We were also awarded for our wines at the 2009 Australian Small Winemakers Show. A Gold Medal was picked up by the 2006 Wilhelmus and Bronze Medals were awarded to both the 2008 Viognier Prestige and the 2008 Shiraz Cabernet. The Shiraz Cabernet was only in bottle for 2 weeks before it was awarded the Medal. We are very excited as this wine will continue to get better with bottle age.

So what are the new release wines? Well naturally the Shiraz Cabernet 2008, an iconic blend of varieties that offers superb drinking now, or improvement with age in your cellar, a 2008 Merlot Cabernet Franc which is seriously smooth drinking now and the 2009 Semillon Sauvignon Blanc with tropical fruit overtones and lifted lemon acidity. Each wine has been carefully crafted to complement the Prestige range and we think once tried will have you reaching for the next bottle!
